Brewers: Jean Segura is Back, Plus Bianchi to the DL, and Falu is back

MILWAUKEE–

It has been six days since the death of Jean Segura’s nine month-old son, but according to Brewers’ manager Ron Roenicke, Segura is ready to re-join the team. Segura will be activated from the Brewers bereavement list on Friday, when the Brewers take on the Nationals in Washington D.C.

Jeff Bianchi has been placed on the 15-day DL with a right elbow strain so its likely Elian Herrera will stay with the Brewers until Jeff is back. The Brewers also claimed Irving Falu off Waivers from the Padres and sent him to Triple-A Nashville. The Brewers designated Kevin Shackelford for assignment.
