Timber Rattlers headed to MWL Playoffs

GRAND CHUTE, Wis.–

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are heading to the Midwest League Playoffs following a 13-2 win in Beloit against the Snappers on Sunday. Sunday was the final day of the regular season for the Timber Rattlers, so a win was needed, because it is do-or-die from this point forward.

The Timber Rattlers first Playoff game is Wednesday in Grand Chute against the Kane County Cougars. The first pitch is scheduled for 6:35.

Games two and three (if needed) will both be hosted in Kane County on Thursday and one again, if needed, on Friday.

The Timber Rattlers finished the second half of the season 36-33, locking up the Wild Card position in the Western division of the Midwest League. This is their first playoff appearance since 2012.
