Packers: Players at Each Position to Consider

GREEN BAY, Wis.– 

The Packers face a few tough decisions as we enter the free agency period, which essentially is the beginning of the new league year. My big three that the Packers must focus on are Randall Cobb, Bryan Bulaga, and Tramon Williams. Yes I do not have Davon House in that group and that’s simply because I feel House is not a necessity for the 2015 Packers.

Negotiations were allowed to begin today, but don’t expect much on the Packers. Ted Thompson will not overpay any free agent and frankly I am alright with that. The Packers will simply let the open market play itself out and let some of the free agents gauge their value and than if Ted has interest in anyone at all he will give it a shot, but as us Packers fans know Ted Thompson and free agency don’t really meet eye to eye.

So, here is what I think we should expect from the Packers in free agency, (Three players I would consider)

QB- Christian Ponder (MIN), Colt McCoy (WAS), Scott Tolzien

RB- Reggie Bush (DET),CJ Spiller (BUF), Shane Vereen (NE

FB- John Kuhn

WR- Randall Cobb, Cecil Shorts (JAX), Percy Harvin (NYJ)

TE- Julius Thomas (DEN), Jordan Cameron (CLE), Jermaine Gresham (CIN)

OT- Bryan Bulaga and Don Barclay

OG- None

C- None

DE- None

DT- BJ Raji, Letroy Guion, Vince Wilfork (NE)

ILB- Draft or Brandon Spikes (BUF)

OLB- None

CB- Tramon Williams, Buster Skrine(CLE), Alan Ball (DAL)

S- Sean Richardson or Draft

K- None

P- None
