GREEN BAY, Wis.–
In what is breaking news out of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay that was first reported by Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports and confirmed by Dan Koob of NBC 26 in Green Bay, Green Bay men’s basketball head coach Brian Wardle has decided to leave Green Bay for Bradley after five seasons with the Phoenix.
Can confirm @CBSSports and @JonRothstein report. Brian Wardle is heading to Bradley University.

This move does not come as a huge surprise after Wardle won the Horizon League regular season title with the Phoenix in 2013-14 and produced a two-time Horizon League Player of the Year in Keifer Sykes, who is now hoping for a shot in the NBA following a solid senior campaign.
Wardle was a player and an assistant coach at Marquette University before joining the Phoenix in 2010.
If you ask me right now at this moment, I’d consider Greg Gard, six year associate head coach of the Wisconsin Badgers, and Pat Miller, who just finished his 14th year as the head coach at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, as the current candidates.
My top candidates for GB job: Greg Gard of Wisconsin and Pat Miller of Whitewater.

All of my top candidates earlier is looking outside of what the Phoenix already have. If you want my honest prediction, itll be Brian Barone
