CHILTON, Wis.–
The Denmark Vikings have cruised through division two opponents all season. When they knew they would be taking on the second ranked team in division two for a sectional final, they knew they’d have to play, but that it would be like any other game.
Denmark senior and St. Cloud State commit Derek Van Pay threw four innings, allowing four hits. He had an RBI for the Vikings to give them a 3-1 win and one last chance to make their case for a state bid.
